Family Medicine in Hanover, Ontario
Hanover Medical Associates is the home of Hanover’s family physicians. Our clinic is at 118 7th Avenue, directly across from Hanover & District Hospital, and we are part of the Hanover Family Health Organization.
Registered patients only. Non-urgent appointments.
Care Close to Home
Our physicians see patients here in the clinic and across the community, including at the hospital across the street. LifeLabs runs its Hanover location on the lower level of our building, so lab work often happens under the same roof as your appointment.

Booking an Appointment
Registered patients can book non-urgent appointments online with their own family physician. Things to know before you book online:
- Online booking is for registered patients of this clinic only. New patients cannot book online.
- Book with your own family physician. Appointments booked with a different doctor will be declined.
- If you are a patient of the residency practice, please call the clinic to book. Residency practice appointments cannot be booked online.
- Online booking is for non-urgent visits only. For urgent appointments, or to see a nurse, call 519-364-2820 and speak with a receptionist.
If you don't see a time that works, just call us instead and we will find one.
Are You Accepting New Patients?
Not at this time. If you are looking for a family doctor or nurse practitioner, register with Ontario's Health Care Connect program: sign up online or call 8-1-1, any hour of the day. Have your Ontario health card and an up-to-date mailing address ready. The province's Find a Family Doctor page explains the program in more detail.
We Are Not a Walk-In Clinic
Visits are by appointment. When the clinic is closed, you still have options:
